Traditional creamy porridge featured

Come the cooler months, we swap our summery breakfasts for a comforting bowl of steaming porridge! This traditional porridge recipe is like a hug in a bowl - it's a delicious way to start to the day. 


  • 1/3 cup oats quinoa flakes for gluten free
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon (ground)
  • 2 tablespoon sunflower seeds (kernels)
  • 1/2 banana sliced
  • 1/2 cup almond milk (unsweetened)
  • 1 teaspoon honey to serve
  • 1/2 cup( mixed berries (fresh or frozen) to serve,


  1. Add the oats, cinnamon, sunflower seeds, banana and almond milk to a small saucepan and put on low heat.

  2. Heat until thickened to your liking (add more almond milk if you prefer a thinner consistency).

  3. Serve with honey and berries.
